Healthcare Applications Trainer (Denver, CO)
Position Overview
We are currently seeking passionate, driven, hardworking individuals to assist us in delivering customized training and education programs for our clients in the Healthcare industry who are implementing large-scale technology initiatives (EMR, PACS, CPOE).
National travel on a weekly basis is required.
Job Duties:
- Train end users on the new application or tool through classroom instruction and one-on-one coaching
- Create and adapt instructional design (training curriculum) as needed for different audiences
- Provide post-go live coaching and support
- Complete weekly status reports
Basic Requirements:
- Proven ability to conduct engaging and effective training sessions to diverse audiences (previous clinical or physician education experience highly desirable)
- Superb presentation, communication (oral and written) and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Deadline-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Ability to travel nationally
Relevant Business and Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree desired
- 2-5 years of training experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
Familiarity or expertise with major healthcare applications (EMR, CPOE, PACS) including:
- Allscripts Practice Management
- Touchworks v10 and/or v11
- GE Centricity
- IDX
- PointClickCare
- Cerner
- Epic
- Eclipsys
